A venue that moves with you

Say your vows on the water. Dance with the city lit up around you.

Lady Thames is a private event venue on Baltimore's harbor. Your guests board once and the whole day unfolds on board: a ceremony on the open-air deck, cocktails at the bar as the sun goes down, dinner and dancing in a warm salon while the skyline turns slowly past the windows.

Captain and crew handle the water. You bring your people and your vision. We take care of the timing, and we can connect you with partners for florals, linens and rentals.

Getting your guests there

We move your guests, too.

Our water taxi fleet carries guests between hotels, the ceremony and the reception, from landings all around the Inner Harbor. One team plans the boats, the timing and the stops, so no one is left looking for a ride.

  • Hotel to ceremony shuttlesPick up out-of-town guests near where they are staying and bring them to the boat.
  • Ceremony to reception transfersGetting married on land? We bring everyone to Lady Thames for the party.
  • Rehearsal and welcome nightsMove the wedding party between dinner, drinks and the hotel by water.
  • Rides home after the last danceReturn trips to landings around the harbor when the night wraps up.

For smaller celebrations

Two more boats for the moments around the big one.

Not every part of the weekend needs the whole flagship. Our smaller boats bring the same crew and the same harbor to a smaller guest list.

Who handles catering?

Our preferred catering team handles food on board, and we're expanding our menus and offerings. If you need an outside caterer for dietary or religious reasons, we'll work with them.
